And the winners are….

NOAA has announced the winners of its first Aquaculture Photo Contest designed to acknowledge photographers who have captured images of aquaculture and the people, science and technology used in the industry. 

The contest was open to the public and photographers submitted images to one of the four categories – Aquaculture in Action; Farming, Science and Technology; Aquaculture and the Environment; and International.  Judges consisted of aquaculture, communications and
