A scientist from the New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station (NHAES), Sherman Bigornia, is researching how to improve the consumption of seafood and dairy products in New Hampshire adults. Part of the challenge, Bigornia discovered, is "the need for community educators and program administrators to tailor their efforts in ways that align with the values and needs of specific communities, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach."

Grieg Seafood's first generation of fish in Placentia Bay in Newfoundland has been harvested with good fish health and welfare and a survival rate of 92 per cent. As the first fish were harvested and packed at Quinlan Brothers Ltd.’s processing plant in Bay de Verde, Grieg says it will continue to develop its farming region in the province.
