Products
Marel, a global company based out of Iceland, has launched a new SmartLine Grader which it claims increases hygienic capabilities for the fish, meat and poultry industries. This new model includes modifications to improve the effectiveness of hygienic practices. Based on a modular design that can be adapted to individual grading requirements, it has an open frame design and minimal horizontal surfaces to maximize effectiveness of high pressure wash-downs.
According to the manufacturer, the new model reduces the amount of downtime required for strip down and cleaning. In addition to the increased hygienic functions, the grader provides the operator with real-time reporting of the production process and generates reports on weight distribution, average weights, a packing overview and packing list in addition to the standard overview and lists. All of these reporting features are viewed via dashboards. This product is available worldwide through local distributors or email info@marel.com.
