Jeanne McKnight
Jeanne McKnight is CEO of The Aquaculture Advocacy Group, LLC, and currently serves as executive director of the Northwest Aquaculture Alliance, a U.S.-based aquaculture advocacy organization.
Her 35-year career in the global food industry includes work on international trade issues, seafood and health promotion, and aquaculture advocacy. In the 1990s, after serving as the first communications director of the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, she started her own firm, McKnight & Company, Inc., which was selected to help launch Chilean farmed salmon in the U.S. market. McKnight has worked in several high-profile international trade cases, including farmed salmon from Chile and warm water shrimp from six countries. She previously held the position of communications director for the Global Aquaculture Alliance (now the Global Seafood Alliance).
